Doja Cat, born October 21, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. As a teenager, she began making and releasing music on SoundCloud. Her song “So High” caught the attention of Kemosabe and RCA Records, with whom she signed a joint record deal at the age of 17, releasing her debut EP, Purrr!, and a series of singles, including “So High,” and “Go to Town”.” After releasing her debut studio album, Amala (2018), Doja Cat earned viral success as an internet meme with her 2018 single “Mooo!”. Hot Pink (2019), her second studio album, peaked at number nine on the US Billboard 200, becoming Doja Cat’s first top ten entry on the chart. The Recording Industry Association of America has certified it platinum.
Planet Her, Doja Cat’s third studio album, was released on June 25, 2021, and featured five singles that charted in the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100: “Kiss Me More,” “You Right,” “Need to Know,” “Woman,” and “Get Into It (Yuh).” The album broke Spotify’s record for the biggest opening day for a female rapper’s album. It spent four consecutive weeks at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart and finished 2021 as the world’s best-selling album. The 26 years old has received numerous honors throughout her career, including one Grammy Award, five Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards, and three MTV Video Music Awards.
Doja Cat Workout
Doja was not always a gym goer, but she noticed actual results since incorporating training sessions into her routine. In an Instagram Live, she said: “Now I can tell you because I’m actually working out now. It used to be rehearsals for awards shows, that’s why during awards season I look very skinty honey,”. The singer trains at least five days a week to stay fit and healthy, constantly pushing herself to her limits. Her workout routine consists primarily of cardio, bodyweight, and weight training.
On lower body days, Doja does lunges, leg curls, squats, and kettlebell exercises. “I love doing squats,” she said. “Don’t know why, but my bottom half responds to a lot, and you can see it immediately.” On upper body days, Doja targets her arms with exercises such as overhead presses, triceps kickbacks, push-ups, triceps dip, and bicep curls. However, she admits that she struggles with upper-body training: “My upper half, I don’t know, I’ve just always had noodle arms my whole life.” she explained.
Instead of spending endless hours in the gym, she focuses on cardio exercises with the help of her trainer. Doja Cat enjoys doing a dance workout to stay in shape and burn calories. Dancing is a great cardio exercise and a fun way to lose weight. High-intensity dancing can help you lose weight by burning more calories. Her workout schedule varies significantly from week to week because she is constantly on the road for performances: “It’s hard to get a hotel that has a proper gym,” she said.

Doja Cat Diet Plan
Doja Cat used to eat almost anything, which led to an unhealthy lifestyle, but after realizing this, she became extremely strict with her diet. Although she has never made public the diet she used to lose weight, Doja has used her Twitter and Instagram to hint at what she is consuming. “I bought groceries before the election cuz I thought it was gonna get stanky out there so I just been cooking for myself ever since. I eat two eggs and spinach tortilla w caramelized onions pepper jack cheese and hot sauce and roll it up. I also eat a lot of seaweed,” she wrote on Twitter.
She no longer consumes processed foods, refined grains, refined sugars, sweetened beverages, saturated and trans fats, high-glycemic foods, or alcohol. She started eating low-carb foods, green leafy vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, seeds, nuts, and herbs. During the lockdown, Doja Cat even began cooking for herself. Eating nutritious foods and exercising regularly will help you stay in shape, reducing your vulnerability to many chronic diseases such as obesity, cancer, and heart disease, and providing you with the energy you need to do your best work.
- Breakfast: green smoothie with egg, cheese, and caramelized onion tortillas.
- Snack: avocado citrus salad with mint.
- Lunch: smoked salmon, baked sweet potato, and steamed vegetables.
- Snack: seaweed chips and orange juice.
- Dinner: grilled chicken salad.
