Q: Jin, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re excited to learn about your fitness journey. Can you tell us how you started and what motivated you to embark on this path?
Jin: Thank you for having me! Well, my fitness journey began as a way to improve my overall health and maintain a balanced lifestyle. As an artist, it’s crucial to have the energy and stamina to perform on stage and keep up with the demanding schedules. I wanted to feel physically strong and confident, and that’s what initially motivated me to dive into fitness.
Q: That’s fantastic to hear, Jin. Could you share with us your workout program and some of your favorite exercises that you enjoy incorporating into your routine?
Jin: Of course! I follow a diverse workout program that includes a combination of strength training, cardio exercises, and flexibility training. I believe it’s important to have a well-rounded approach to fitness. Some of my favorite exercises include weightlifting, which helps me build strength and tone my muscles. I also enjoy cardiovascular activities like running or dancing, as they help me improve my endurance and keep my heart healthy. Lastly, I prioritize flexibility training through activities such as yoga or Pilates, as they improve my overall body mobility and prevent injuries.
Q: That’s an excellent mix of exercises, Jin. Let’s talk about your diet plan. Could you give us some insights into the foods you focus on and how you maintain a balanced diet while juggling your busy schedule?
Jin: Absolutely! Maintaining a balanced diet is essential for anyone, especially when we have busy schedules. I focus on consuming a variety of nutrient-dense foods, including lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats. I try to incorporate these elements into my meals as much as possible. However, it’s also important to indulge in moderation and not deprive oneself entirely. I believe in finding a balance that allows me to enjoy the foods I love while still nourishing my body with what it needs.
Q: That’s great advice, Jin. Now, let’s talk about supplements. Are there any specific supplements you use to support your fitness journey?
Jin: I believe that getting essential nutrients primarily from whole foods is crucial. However, there are instances where supplements can play a helpful role in providing the additional support our bodies need. Personally, I take supplements like multivitamins to ensure I’m meeting my nutritional requirements. But it’s important to consult with professionals, such as nutritionists or doctors, to find what works best for you because everyone’s needs are different.

Jin: Staying motivated can be a challenge, but for me, it’s about setting goals and reminding myself of the benefits that come with regular exercise. Seeing progress, whether it’s increased strength, improved endurance, or even the mental clarity that comes after a good workout, keeps me motivated. Surrounding myself with positive energy and having a support system, such as my fellow BTS members, also helps me stay focused and driven.
Q: That’s wonderful, Jin. Finally, what advice would you give to individuals who are struggling with weight and finding it difficult to start or maintain a fitness routine?
Jin: My advice would be to start small and be patient with yourself. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and the same goes for our fitness journeys. Focus on making small changes to your lifestyle, such as incorporating short workout sessions or opting for healthier food choices. It’s important to remember that progress takes time, and setbacks are a part of the journey. Surround yourself with supportive people who can encourage and motivate you along the way. And most importantly, love yourself and embrace your unique journey because it’s the only way you’ll truly enjoy the process.
