Laurie Blue Adkins, better known by her stage name Adele, is an English singer and songwriter. She enjoyed singing contemporary pop music as a child and learned to play the guitar and the clarinet. Since Adele posted that photo celebrating her 32nd birthday, her fitness journey has sparked speculation and interest. Pete Geracimo, her former personal trainer, took to Instagram to express his disappointment with the negative comments questioning her fantastic weight loss transformation. He stated that Adele never set out to lose weight on purpose. Instead, she desired to become healthier. “When Adele and I started our journey together, it was never about getting super skinny. It was about getting her healthy. Especially post-pregnancy and post-surgery,” he wrote via Instagram at the time.

Defending the singer, he explained that he was hired to prepare her for Live 2016. ” When 25 dropped and the tour announced, we had to get ready for a 13 month gruelling schedule. In that time, she warmed to training and made better food choices. As a result, she lost considerable weight and people took notice. Her body transformation was splashed across every media outlet. So, I do my weights in the morning, then I normally hike or I box in the afternoon, and then I go and do my cardio at night.” Saying that the everyday person cannot easily replicate her workout routine. “I was basically unemployed when I was doing it. And I do it with trainers.”

It’s also been revealed that she attends Pilates classes regularly – and she is not the only celebrity who does. The Los Angeles-based starlet has reportedly been attending her local class with Meghan Markle, who also enjoys the relaxing exercise. According to a source close to the two famous pals, they love the low-impact exercise: “Meghan and Adele have been having Pilates lessons. They are loving it”. “The instructor has also been giving lessons to Harry. It’s a great stress-buster,” they told the Mirror.
